woven scarves

 

The singles are from the Gossamer Web fauxlags.

The yarn is a fellow Raveler's first handspun skeins. The purple multicolor was her first skein ever, and the gray coopworth was her second completed spinning project.  She only knits lace and wasn't happy with these yarns, which is understandable. They aren't suited for lace, but they wove up very nicely. The coopworth is definitely not for next to the skin wear, but it would make a nice sweater. The purple (bfl, I think) is quite soft, and perfectly suitable to be worn as a scarf.
