Fred's not his real name. But here are his first three knitting projects. Hat in hand from Malabrigo worsted.  Then the scarf, in a worsted singles from Lorna's Laces, then the hat on the head, same yarn.  Today, while working the top of the hat, he broke his first dpn! That'sa my boy!

Handspun Sweater

Handspun, into the whirled.

Into the Whirled, Falkland, in Serenity, 4 oz. April 2012 Fiber Club, but this was my prize for a SAL.

  

300 yards of 2-ply, plus 25 yards of Navaho ply.

Loop top for Soph.

I made this out of a Loop Bullseye Bump in Tiger's Eye. Spun and navaho plied to about 410 yards. It's a basic, top down raglan using a stitch pattern Sophia chose from a Barbara Walker stitch dictionary. I like how the lines of the pattern match the lines in the raised beds.
